Here you\u2019ll find photographs from my journeys to the North \u2013 for now, mostly from the Nordic countries: Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Finland, and the Faroe Islands.<\/p>

Although I was born and still live in warm Dubrovnik, whose climate I truly love, I\u2019ve always been drawn to cold winter weather and snow \u2013 a rare guest in my city. We tend to value what\u2019s rare, and perhaps that\u2019s one reason why every snowfall in Dubrovnik left me beside myself with joy. Snow would more often dust only the surrounding hilltops, which spurred me to climb them and that\u2019s how I came to love hiking in the hills and mountains, such as those above Moko\u0161ica, just outside Dubrovnik or on Snije\u017enica, the only mountain in our county.<\/p>

The weather and climate, the landscapes, culture, and everyday life near and even within the Arctic Circle (66\u00b030\u2032 N) have long been a kind of mystery to me and a source of fascination. That\u2019s why I began traveling through those regions, most often with a few friends who share a similar spirit and love of adventure. These experiences are priceless, and the only thing that can even partially convey them is photography. I\u2019m sharing some of those images here, arranged into galleries that I\u2019ll keep expanding with new journeys and content over time.<\/p>
